IP
Integration was established through a Management Buy Out of the
“Centre of Excellence for Converged Telephony”, a Division of Cable &
Wireless UK providing voice and data solutions to the corporate
market. The opportunity for the MBO occurred as part of a strategic
move by Cable & Wireless to implement an Indirect Channel policy in
line with most other Global Service Providers. In conjunction with the
MBO and re enforcing the ‘Indirect Channel’ model of C&W, IP
Integration Ltd were appointed as C&W’s first Strategic Partner in the
UK within the IP Voice and Data arena.
Financial backing for the MBO was provided through Adventure Finance
Ltd and their fund management relationship with ABN Amro. Adventure
Finance has a significant ongoing role in the strategic growth and
development of IP Integration.
